Email Reminder-Extra Text Box

I noticed in the version I installed (7.5.5), the event email reminder pop-up has an "Extra text" box. Where you may enter additional words to be included in the notice that gets sent. Links and/or email addresses added using this extra text box are not active in the notice.

Is this correct, and is there any future plans to make these become active?

As is, this ability to add extra text is a great feature.

There are no immediate plans to change the formatting. You can add this line to plans_config.pl:

$options{html_email} = 1;

to have *all* plans email sent as html. Depending on the email client, this may make links clickable.
