|

Lloyd,
I have tinkered with the code for Upcoming Events display to list them on our Troop homepage the way I like them.
http://bsatroop1999.org
I would like to make one other tweak, that I need help with. Is there a way to parse all of the event id's and group all events for a given date and only display the date once? For instance:
Date
Event
Event
Date
Event
Event
Event ......
Currently, each event is listed under the date even if there are multiple events on a given day.
Any ideas or help for this modification?
Thanks,
Bill |

Bill,
I really liked how you formatted your list on your website. I can't figure out how you made your dates a different color. Could you please help me? I'm obviously not a programmer.
Thanks,
Scot

Scot,
I manipulated the .css file.
.rightSideBar .date {
color: #cc0000;
background-color: transparent;
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: bold;
}

Bill,
Sorry, I'm not a programmer, not anything close. Which css file? My page is html so can I manipulate the upcoming events.css. And if so, how?
Thanks,

I like the colors (images?) you used for your calendar!
How did you set that up (files?, images?, etc).
Thanks,

Paul,
If your question is about the look and feel for the calendar as a whole, It is just a standard theme.
On the Plans home page, click the Theme link. I used the "Cloth" theme.
The install directions are right on the Theme page.
That's all there is to it.
If your question is about the Upcoming events, that is a bit more complex. I had to edit the .css file not only for the Upcoming events, but the .css file for the Troop website. I also had to edit the plans template with additional options.
Let me know if I can help further.
