Hi all

I succesfully installed the latest version of plans on my webserver. But when i open my browser and go to the location, everything seems okay, but actually some javascript functions don't seem to work. like display_event & show_tab. Does anyone know how to fix this?
In case this helps: i did all the editing on the server, there was never a transaction between my computer and the server.

Some usefull info:
The theme folder is located elsewhere on the server, bcz of troubles with static files.

plans version: 7.7.7
browser: firefox, mozilla, Microsoft IE
OS: Windows XP
OS server: some linux os

This is a real bug. It was fixed in version 7.7.6, but the copies of plans.js in the downloadable themes were not synched with the latest version.

I'll get this done shortly. In the meantime, you can fix it by replacing your plans.js with the latest version:

I just upgraded the email_reminders.cgi file and now some of my stuff does not work!

Here's a report I got from one of my beta testers:

Quote:
The working links:

Tabs for calendars, add event and calendar settings
Previous and next month links
When I try to approve the event I posted a password prompt pops up
Export link
Email link open outlook express
Plans link works at the bottom

The non-working links:

Clicking on an event
Pending event
Make a custom calendar link

So I went ahead and tested on my computer what he said did not work. Here's my results:

Clicking on an event: works in Firefox v1.5.0.7; has problems in Internet Explorer v6.0 SP2
Pending Event: Worked for me (but I think only the administrator can click on pending events???)
Make a custom calendar link: Works in Firefox; works in IE

And here's the real kicker:

When I attempt to open the calendar using IE v6.0 with SP2 installed, the calendar takes a long time to open. Eventually it opens, but it opens a smaller dialog box with Adobe Reader! I eventually get an error dialog box that states "Could not find Acrobet External Window Handler."

If I click on OK, the error dialog box goes and and so does the Adobe Free Reader dialog box! Then the calendar appears!!!!

I'm running Windows XP SP2.

I am not sure if this is caused by the upgrade of the email_reminders.cgi file or some other problem!

If anyone wants to check my setup, here's the URL:

Thanks,

Paul

FOLLOW-UP:

Just replace the email_reminders.cgi file with the version that came with v7.7.6 and that did not solve the problem!!!

So it's apparent something else is amiss!
