I've installed the Upcoming Events to another web page. While it works great the probelm is the background colors used in the calendar show up in the background of the "other" web page where the Upcoming Events are listed. And the background of that "other" page is a shade of brown rendering the Upcoming Events list unreadable!!!

So how do I change the background of the Upcoming Events list on the "other" web page so they are readable. I tried adding a background attribute to the upcoming_events.css file, but that did not help!

URL of "other" page: http://www.dog-walker.us/off-road.htm
Version of Plans: 7.7.7
Browser type and version: Firefox v1.5.0.7
Operating system of the user: Win XP Pro w/SP2
Operating system of the server running Plans: Linux

Thanks,

Regrettably, you can't Sad The code that lays out the html for the upcoming events makes explicit css settings that override any external css file. I should have added an option to not do that.

For your example, the best short-term fix might be changing the link color, like so:

Code:
ul.upcoming_events li a {
 color:#00f;
}

OK, changed that color code to 00000 thinking that if I can't change the background selected by the person who aded the event, black should show through most of the user-selected colors!

Nothing changed!

In fact, the links are the same color as the links on the rest of the page!

You may want to check your code because it appears you are allowing external stylesheets to change that color!
