1. Should email notification work on a Windows server? There is a comment in plans_config.pl that it doesn't.
2. If it should work, is there a list somewhere of what should be customized - mail server, email address, etc.
3. Is there or can there be a debug log somewhere - I've tried a few things without success but don't know where to look for clues as to why nothing happened.
Thanks for any help! |

| Never mind - I see that email addresses need to be prepended with add: update: or delete:. Then all works fine. I was just confused by the "Help on this" text. |

Now I get two emails for each add or update: one good one and one with missing info. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Good email:
This is an automatic notice - The event TEST was added to the XYZ calendar.
You can view it here:

Extra email:
This is an automatic notice - The event was added to the XYZ calendar.

Maybe it's time to have everyone register before posting? I've noticed this board is getting "spammed", so to speak. I know there's a new term for this but I don't recall it at the moment. |
