|
|
Exporting an all-day event using the "iCalendar (MS Outlook)" format, then importing into MS Outlook 2003, the event is shown one day earlier than how it appears in Plans. However, if I export the event using the cvs format, it imports correctly into Outlook 2003. Any idea why I'm getting different results?
I have version 7.6.2 installed, on a Windows 2000 IIS server, with Perl 5.6.1. |

I am running Plans 7.6.5, and when I export events into iCalendar format and import them into Outlook 2003, all-day events appear to begin at 8:00pm on the previous day.
This applies to both single and multi-day events.
I cannot provide a link to the calendar, but I'd be happy to send the iCalendar file as an attachment. |

|
|
In order to see what may be the cause, I need to see a sample of the iCalendar data.
All day events should just be:
| Code: |
DTSTART:20061031
DTEND:20061031
|
(Technically w/o a DTEND, it becomes an all day event for the date specified in the DTSTART but thats a minor thing.)
If you are seeing 8PM on the imported data then it could be that a specific time is on the entry along w/some time zone information so that your Outlook client is shifting to the proper value in your local time zone.
If you can provide the raw iCalendar data, we can take a look and see for sure.
